JEONJU Lab is a planning and development mentoring program to discover and foster diverse and new Korean film projects. The program consists of two sections, JEONJU Lab: Feature Length and JEONJU Lab: Short.

The JEONJU Lab: Feature Length selects new and innovative feature length film projects regardless of genre. It provides a first stage development grant of 5 million Korean Won and intensive mentoring from industry professionals to help develop the scenarios. Based on the completed scenarios, the project provides a second stage development grant and different levels of in-kind support through evaluation.

The JEONJU Lab: Short aims to foster film industry and nurture talents within Jeonbuk province by selecting projects regardless of genre. The program provides a production support grant of 5 million Korean Won, in kind production support, and intensive mentoring service by industry professionals. Selected projects shall be completed by the beginning of JEONJU IFF the following year, and will have world premieres at the festival.
