JEONJU Project is an industry program launched by the JEONJU International Film Festival in 2009 to strengthen its ties with the film industry and expand its role beyond exhibition. Originally known as JEONJU Project Market, it supported the development and production of innovative Korean and international films for 12 years. In 2021, it was rebranded as JEONJU Project to further refine its identity and expertise.

Today, JEONJU Project offers comprehensive support across all stages of filmmaking, including development, production, post-production, and distribution, tailoring its initiatives to the specific needs of each phase of filmmaking. The program also fosters industry connections by facilitating networking opportunities between selected projects, filmmakers, and key stakeholders in both the Korean and international film industries.

The 17th JEONJU Project continues to support creative and diverse film projects through various industry programs, including JEONJU Lab, JEONJU Cinema Project: Next Edition, and Work-in-Progress. These initiatives provide comprehensive support throughout the entire process from project development and production to distribution. Furthermore, the program facilitates one on one business meetings and networking opportunities to help participants engage with Korean and international film professionals, explore potential collaborations, and seek opportunities in financing, production, and distribution.

JEONJU Project operates year-round, with the main events of the 17th JEONJU Project taking place during the 26th JEONJU International Film Festival, from May 4 (Sun) to May 6 (Tue), 2025.
