It is Dec. 1999, and Kim Young-mi has a nickname, “End of the Century,” because her facial features are somewhat disagreeable. One man is kind to her (KOO Doyoung), but she knows that he has been defrauding his company. Caught and disappointed between love and conscience, she chooses love and replenishes the accounts. On December 31, 1999. at the funeral of her aunt, she is arrested on charges of abetting the embezzlement of public funds. Her 20th century ends. She is released from prison in the summer and a woman comes to her; Cho Yoojin, Koo’s disabled wife. Kim is shocked that Cho is so beautiful. She says that her marriage is fake, and she will compensate Kim for her losses. In return, she asks Kim to find the man. In doubt, Kim quickly leaves. As a convict, Kim has a hard time getting a job and has no place to stay. Will Kim get her money back?

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

One of my relatives has a first-grade disability as her entire body is paralyzed except her face. Nevertheless, she always takes special care of her fasion and likes to collect pretty plates. Disability is one of the words to describe her. She can never be equated with the word. This has become the starting point of the story. Without exception, we are all just humans who are filled with selfish desires and complaints. I would like to tell the story about two women in having desires for life and love.
