The Blessing of Morpheus
Suhyun, an indie band singer, got into a car accident one day and hurt her vocal cords, so she can no longer sing. her agency is trying to take away her music. Suhyun tries to keep her singing and her dream.
A rising indie band singer, Suhyun, who can no longer sing after an accident, begins to have the same dream every day and can sing in her dreams. Then, there is a man named Sungbin in Suhyun's dream. In real life, Sungbin is congenitally deaf, but he can hear Suhyun singing in his dreams. Her agency takes the song, MOON LIGHT, away from Suhyun. But the song was written by Suhyun's mother, who passed away; hence, it is more precious than anything to Suhyun. After a series of twists and turns, Suhyun protects the song from her agency, but Suhyun gives up her lingering feelings about pursuing music. After that, Suhyun no longer desires to dream and kills herself in her dreams, making her never dream again in her sleep. She also says farewell to Sungbin, who is still trapped in her dreams. As time passes, Suhyun slips into her dream to meet Sungbin and sing again.
I've seen a writing that says, "Even if you didn't achieve them, your dreams are still dreams, just keeping them as they are." The main character, Suhyun, had a lifelong dream of singing. I wanted Suhyun not to give up her dream.
