LOGLINE

34-year-old Song-i, who used to live a stagnant life, cannot overcome the pressure from her mother, Hee-sook, who is sending her out on blind dates for marriage. Though Song-i does as her mother says, she soon grows bored with meeting man after man.

SYNOPSIS

Song-i is a year away from turning 35. Her mother, Hee-sook, who feels impatient with Song-i for being 34, insists on setting her up on blind dates through a matchmaking agency every day. But Song-i only pays attention to the men's physical appearance, not their words.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

I wanted to narrate the tale of a woman who defies societal prejudice and embarks on a quest to find true love.

INTERVIEW
What inspired you to start this project?
I do not consider myself a person who aspires to change the world or convey a message to the audience through my films. Instead, I find immense pleasure in conveying my inner experiences through the medium of cinema. Over time, I came to realize that my values and perspectives had differed, prompting a desire to express them through the medium of film. Hence, I embarked on this project.
Is there any emotion you want the audience to feel after watching this film?
There are no specific emotions that I intend for the audience to experience through my film. I hope they will notice the happenings and transformation the character goes through in the film.
