Saving condemned criminal by merderer and prison officer
There are two people who urgently need money. Due to accidental manslaughter, Jun-ho spent 1 year and 9 months in jail and because of his settlement money, he ruined his family. Do-il is a separated husband whose marriage is about to be broken. The money is the last and only hope to save Jun-ho's parents' life who lost everything for paying his settlement money and also Do-il's last hope to re-start his Life with his family. Do-il got a job to prove innocence of a death-row convict and he chose Jun-ho, who is just released from jail as an ex-convict of death resulting from bodily injury, as a partner. But they don't have much clue. Though the death-row was sentenced to death on a charge of murder and raping a family of probation officer, he has a partial memory loss before and after the case. Only his partial memory has gotten back - he was going up the stairs with fear. So Jun-ho and Do-il take note of the clue "the stairs". While violent crimes are reported every day and political party uses these cases politically, the death penalty decision comes closer. Mysterious relations involved in a large amount of money and dead Probation officer. After struggling, they find hidden stairs. Investigation is accelerated and they find hidden conclusive evidence. However they are rather put in danger, due to concealed truth and conspiracy. Will they prove the innocence of condemned criminal?

desire to pay back as you suffered. Through the person's desire of "resolution by violence", 13 STEPS wants to speak about the limitation of '"resolution by violence". 13 STEPS speaks both the excitement of genre and depth of the subject via firm composition with reversal and tension.
