LOGLINE

Galaxies with countless stars... Through the universe that embraces that galaxy... Another universe unfolds! Three stories of ordinary people in an infinite multiverse!

SYNOPSIS

Three stories from three different earths in the multiverse...
Earth #1 A high school girl cuts class to discover the meaning of life.
Earth #2 A beggar tells the story of how he became a homeless philosopher.
Earth #3 A man who only tells the truth, unwittingly causes everyone to leave him.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

Multiverse, this fascinating view of the world that is also feasible, does not necessarily have to be exclusive for superhero films. Where ordinary people's lives constantly unfold, the multiverse worldview which begins within such imagination brings new sapidity and humor to our imperfect lives even without superpower. Black comedy Stars in the Ordinary Universe makes it possible to face our own desires that we do not want to, through a multi-universe worldview, and to just laugh it off. We hope that all audiences are able to see the aspirations hidden in their hearts while watching this film and laugh for a while, away from their own suffering.
