We live our lives that revolve around the premise of who we are but the foundation of our actions is ultimately beyond our control and understanding. The present, in relation to time, is just as elusive and enigmatic. The characters in Shit Can spend time chasing after one person who never shows up. This wandering presence raises questions and challenges our values. Shit Can does not follow the format of a novel or essay but rather a poem in its rhythm, repetition, and structure that defies time and space.
