Miss Fire
Jieun, socially withdrawn, and Taekyung preparing for an exam to be a police officer. They are being chased by a crime gang and police because of a handgun they obtained by chance.
Jieun, a fan of the animated film, Lucky Girls, finds a limited edition figurine and ventures out of her house after years for it because the dealer can trade only in a sparsely populated place during nighttime. Through an app that connects someone for your errands, she asks for help from Taekyung, who is preparing for an exam to be a police officer. Taekyung meets the dealer, who looks quite rough, and they exchange their figurines. But the police mistake them for dealing drugs and try to arrest them. The man runs away at the speed of light and Taekyung chases after him. Jieun is left behind and opens the exchanged bag only to discover a gun instead of a figurine.
To make things worse, a gun homicide occurs in the nearby area, and the police mistake them for dealing drugs and try to arrest them. They escape the police station in order to find the figurine dealer themselves. While they pursue the dealer, they happen to uncover the truth behind the gun homicide and end up being chased by the killers of a criminal gang. Can Jieun and Taekyung expose the truth and return to their normal lives?
I would like to portray a coming-of-age story of two women, who are undervalued and do not belong to any certain groups in society, as they achieve something that nobody has expected.
