Cosmic Trace
Our lives are filled with death, and life and death are overlapping.
Hyunji and Jihyun, a couple in their 30s, are living together. Jihyun, a former child actor, is preparing for an important audition, while Hyunji, who quit her job at a major broadcasting company, works as a YouTube channel producer and is planning to launch her own channel. Through a sudden death that comes to them, they search for the meaning of existence amid life's uncertainties.
Everyday Life Like a Dream, Death Like the Everyday<br> By portraying death, which we perceive as distant, as something routine, and depicting our repeating daily life as dreamlike, I aim to express the psychological disconnect the protagonist experiences in having to accept death. However, through a structure that highlights the differences and repetitions between the first and second halves, I intend to express a quantum-like world where life and death overlap.
