Will We Find Happiness in the End?
"To choose the mother who wants to end the marriage,or the girlfriend who wants to get married? That is the question."
Nam-cheol and Joo-hee have been living together for three years. One day, their landlord raises the rent, and the increased deposit becomes a burden. They search for a new place but find only worse options. Nam-cheol’s mother, Yoon-jeong, hears about youth rental housing and asks him to apply, wanting to live separately. Meanwhile, Joo-hee is advised to apply for newlywed housing. Torn between his mother’s wish and his girlfriend’s desire for marriage, Nam-cheol faces a tough decision. Will they find happiness in the end?
Through the protagonist "Namcheol," I want to portray a young man who is wavering as he tries to find direction toward a happy ending. This wavering process is a natural part of finding one's way, not something wrong. The story addresses dilemmas like his mother's "graduated marriage," his desire to marry his girlfriend, and his dream of acting. I want to express these realistic themes in a lighthearted, comedic way and offer encouragement to those facing similar dilemmas in their lives.
