The film is a whimsical fantasy meta-movie that playfully explores the question 'What is film?' with the God of film.

SYNOPSIS

Yeon-hwa, a film director who hasn't made a movie in 10 years, watches her first short film while participating in Hae-man's documentary. After the film ends, the protagonist from the short film appears before her, complaining that she has "aged terribly because the director stopped making films" and urging Yeon-hwa to "make a movie right away." Ultimately, Yeon-hwa decides to self-fund a feature film. As their first step, they decide to find and cast Jo A-yeong, the actress who has since disappeared. However, finding her proves to be difficult. As with all filmmaking processes...

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

I have seriously contemplated the question, 'What is it about films that makes me live in this way at this age?' Throughout this process, I wanted to express the journey of finding my own conclusion in a way that I prefer. While having extensive knowledge about films can be enjoyable, I hope to create a movie that someone pursuing their dreams can fully enjoy, even without a deep understanding of cinema. That, after all, is the essence of the true charm of film.
