DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

Making a film has always been exciting for me. To make this excitement sustainable, I try to adapt the production method and story to a setting I feel most comfortable in. I set a one-year deadline for this film and chose to write a short-length script whenever I wanted to shoot and shoot different parts of the film as I wrote them.

INTERVIEW
What inspired you to start this project?
I like to make new changes and experiment with things when I start a new film. In the case of this film, instead of shooting after writing a full-length script, we adapted a method of writing short-length scripts that intuitively felt good at the time, going through the shooting, editing, and monitoring, and then keep writing and producing the story as we went along. This structure is a form where the story is left off to pick up the next time we continue to write, and it felt like a fun game where the previous story gave us a quest that we continually had to tackle and solve.
Is there any emotion you want the audience to feel after watching this film?
The film is composed of 4 chapters. I hope you enjoy watching the process in which the characters, stories, and settings flow, mix, and change.
